Healthy Gallatin Home Visiting
All Healthy Gallatin Home Visiting services are free and can be tailored to specific family needs. Services include developmental milestone information and screenings, breastfeeding education and support, education on infant care and nutrition, as well as assistance in accessing community resources. Through one on one visits with a nurse or family support worker, you can build a trusted relationship, get prenatal and parenting support and have your questions answered to better prepare yourself for successful parenthood. Healthy Gallatin WIC Breastfeeding Peer Counseling
The Women, Infants and Children (WIC) program is a supplemental nutrition program providing healthy food, breastfeeding support, and nutrition education. WIC is available to income eligible moms who are pregnant, breastfeeding, and postpartum along with dads, foster parents and grandparents, or any guardian of a child under 5 years old. SNAP and Head Start participants automatically qualify. At Healthy Gallatin WIC, their certified lactation counselors provide breastfeeding support, encouragement, breast pumps, and education. Thrive - The Partnership Project
The Partnership Project is a home visiting program that provides a support network to young families in the Gallatin Valley with children 0-5 years of age. The project is a collaboration between Thrive, Gallatin City-County Health Department and high quality childcare centers.
