Roots Family Collaborative is a small, local nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting families and their mental health from preconception through parenthood. We have strong partnerships throughout Gallatin and Park counties.
We are looking for a detail-oriented part-time Operations Assistant to join our small yet mighty team. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, be computer savvy, self-directed, and also a team player. This position will include collecting and entering data, maintaining accurate records, and supporting day-to-day office activities to advance our mission.
This role is perfect for a highly organized, detail-oriented individual who has experience working effectively solo and is eager to contribute to operational excellence as part of a great team.

Responsibilities include:
Enter accurate information into databases and other software programs
Review data for deficiencies or errors, correct any incompatibilities or duplicates
Research and obtain further information for incomplete documents and files
Request and collect survey information from participants
Generate reports and store completed work in designated locations
Scan documents and print files
Respond to queries for information and access relevant files
Look for ways to improve data collection processes, including the design of forms and templates, for data entry and overall systems
Record and transcribe participant stories and testimonials to use as qualitative data
Support the production of our annual resource guide through verification of data in multiple formats
Assist in day-to-day office activities – answer phone, water plants, purchase supplies, help maintain a tidy office environment

Excellent spelling, grammar, and punctuation
Experience with Google Drive and database programs
Adaptability, including the ability to learn and adhere to new processes and technology

Organizational skills, with an ability to stay focused on assigned tasks
Tolerance for repetitive tasks
High school diploma; additional computer training or certification will be an asset

Pay Range: $18-$20 per hour DOE
