We have three weekly Blossom Mom groups, and one monthly group in Park County to accommodate as many schedules as possible.

Blossom Mom is a peer-to-peer support group guided by a skilled facilitator and mother like yourself. This group welcomes new and expecting mothers of all stages who wish to connect on the joys and challenges of pregnancy and parenthood, while also gaining wisdom and support from others in a compassionate and non-judgmental space.

At Roots, we know that parenting is hard. And we know that parenting without community is even harder. You are not alone, come join us with your baby or just yourself.

Please respect our space and other families by honoring our illness policy; please do not come if you or your baby are feeling sick or are still contagious.

What to expect at Blossom Mom

We use a peer-to-peer support group model that is both structured and unstructured, allowing for all voices to be heard and acknowledged, and for those who wish to be listeners to be respected. You can expect a friendly, inviting and trained peer-facilitator, in a safe and comfy space accompanied by other mothers who understand. An opportunity to share uninterrupted, and free of judgment and advice-giving.

Common themes that come up during our group are, but not limited to:

  • sleep deprivation

  • feeling overwhelmed

  • partner relationships

  • work / life balance

  • resources in the community

  • feeding

  • loss of identity

  • how to reach out for help
