Roots Conflict of Interest Disclosure
Conflict of Interest Policy
The standard of behavior at Roots Family Collaborative is that all staff, volunteers, and Board members scrupulously avoid conflicts of interest between the interests of Roots on one hand, and personal, professional, and business interests on the other. This includes avoiding potential and actual conflicts of interest, as well as perceptions of conflicts of interest.
What is a conflict of interest? A conflict of interest arises when a Board member or staff member has a personal interest that conflicts with the interests of Roots or arise in situations where a Board/staff member has divided loyalties (also known as a “duality of interest”). Situations or transactions arising out of a conflict of interest can result in either inappropriate financial gain or the appearance of a lack of integrity in Roots’ decision-making process.
Thanks you so much for all you do for Roots! We appreciate your commitment to the organization!
